1. Recipient and purpose
This is an offer by the Religious Community of the Local Church of Christ in Odesa to accept voluntary donations for the purchase of premises for the church. Donations under this offer are intended for this dedicated appeal, rather than general church donations. Payment purpose: Voluntary donation towards the purchase, renovation and furnishing of church premises.
2. Voluntary donation
The donor chooses the amount freely. A donation is not payment for goods or services and does not give the donor ownership of the premises. Making a payment using this appeal’s published payment details or payment form signifies acceptance of this offer. The donation agreement is concluded when the congregation accepts the donation.
3. Payment and currency
Donations will be accepted through the payment methods enabled on this appeal’s donation page after its dedicated account details have been verified. LiqPay payments are settled in Ukrainian hryvnia. If a donor pays with a foreign-currency card, the applicable exchange rate and any charges are determined by the bank and payment provider. Card details are entered on the payment provider’s page. Opening or returning from a payment page is not confirmation of a successful donation; retain the payment provider’s receipt.
4. Use of funds and donor rights
The congregation uses donations to purchase premises for the church. By donating under this offer, the donor agrees that any funds remaining after the purchase may be used to renovate and furnish the purchased premises. The congregation keeps records of receipts and expenditure. Donors may request information about the use of their donation. If the stated purpose becomes impossible to fulfil, use for another purpose requires the donor’s consent or another lawful basis. This offer does not give the congregation unrestricted permission to redirect donations to other needs.
5. Refund enquiries and payment errors
For a mistaken or duplicate payment, or another request concerning a donation, contact us using the email below. Include the payment date, amount, transaction reference and a description of the issue. Do not send full card numbers, CVV codes or passwords. Requests are considered in accordance with Ukrainian law and the payment provider’s procedures. Any approved refund is processed through the original payment channel where supported. Donors retain their statutory rights.
6. Personal data and language
The congregation uses the contact and payment information it receives to record donations, communicate with donors and handle requests, as required by Ukrainian law. The payment provider processes payment data under its own privacy terms. The English text is a translation for convenience; the Ukrainian version governs in the event of a discrepancy. Changes published here apply to subsequent donations and do not retrospectively change the agreed purpose of an earlier donation.
